Homeschool Recess, hosted by The Social Homeschooler, is your opportunity to connect to other local homeschool families through free play! Open to all homeschool families, we host weekly park dates in the Leavenworth County area to take advantage of all the amenities our area has to offer. With something for all ages, our parks offer a comfortable space for connections to be made. Our calendar is posted monthly for your convenience and we extend the invitation for Facebook group members to create events of their own. |

Parents are responsible for supervising their own children and for the behaviors of their children
Bullying and verbal or physical violence of any sort will not be tolerated.
Event Guidelines:
All events must be free, hosted in the Leavenworth County area parks, and open to anyone who wishes to attend. Events can be hosted by any group member so long as they abide by rule and guidelines laid out for this group. Events can also include age specific requests such as double digits kickball or teen basketball. If you have any questions about hosting an event please reach out via email at [email protected].

Recess is facilitated through a private Facebook group. Alternately, you can sign up to receive a monthly email with information about park dates. Simply fill out the contact form and mention the monthly Recess email in comment section. You will have a full list of park dates in your inbox at the beginning of each month!
