By Stephanie Wharton-Lynch The year is coming to an end and with that comes a time of reflection. I am so grateful for all of the families who have leaned into this community and who have helped create events, as well as a sense of belonging amongst families. It takes heart to show up, to create meaningful connections, and to host events so that others can expand their learning -and you all have done it so well! I would like to take the opportunity to ask you to join me in thanking the team of ladies who have worked on the board to make this co-op run with ease. Arlee, Carisa, and Jesse are members and homeschool parents just like you, who have volunteered their time in service of this community. They have kept our co-op organized and our calendar filled with events, gathering us all together to build the connections that are so valuable. None of this would have been possible without them! Please join me in thanking them by sharing your words of appreciation in the comments. We want them to know how much they mean to us!

Arlee, Carisa, Jesse, and Stephanie- Thank you so much for all you do!! I’m truly so thankful for all of the time you each have put in to making The Social Homeschooler such an amazing, friendly, welcoming community. We are so blessed by all the work you have done this year! My kiddos have had so many awesome opportunities through this group- and we are so grateful. It would not be possible without you guys!! Thank you!!

You girls are amazing!!!!! Jess, my kids are going to miss you and your games during recess! They always look forward see what fun game you have brought and let’s not forget the otter pops! 😊Thank you! Arlee, thank you for always keeping everyone in line and up to date! I know you do way more behind the scenes work than we even know! You are appreciated SO VERY MUCH! Carissa- Thank you for taking the time to become part of the board this year, you are already so busy and to add even more to your plate, wow! You’re amazing! Arlene, Jesse, and Carisa— thank you so much for welcoming my family into the fold! It can be hard to feel like you “belong” in a new group, but you each wholeheartedly welcomed us and helped us feel comfortable at our first few events.
